Choosing a smaller wedding doesn’t mean you need to shrink the day down to a ceremony and an hour of photos.
Maybe you get married at the courthouse, grab drinks, and end up on a sailboat. Maybe you spend the morning getting ready together, share vows and make it official at a spring or lush garden and clean up for dinner + drinks later. Maybe your family is there for the ceremony and the rest of the day is just yours.
My Florida elopement packages include photography, location scouting, timeline help, activity ideas, vendor recommendations + hands-on guidance so we can take whatever ideas you have and turn them into a day that makes sense.
Kathryn rocks! When looking for an elopement photographer, I had one vision in mind have fun and make the day about us. She created my vision. She helped from the very start, I gave her a few ideas I had and she rolled with them creating a 6 hour adventure! I was worried 6 hours of "just" photos would feel like a long day or a chore but she made it feel like it was just the two of us enjoying our day. Thank you again for not only the amazing experience but the AMAZING photos!!

Locations, activities + ideas that actually fit who you two are, built from scratch, not from a template.
Timelines, logistics, permits, vendor recommendations + the million little questions you didn't know you'd have.
I’m not going to make you spend six hours taking photos because you booked six hours of photography.
Candid, warm, in the moment images with enough direction that you never wonder what to do, without spending your wedding day performing for the camera.
You’re not hiring me to arrive with a camera after you’ve already figured out the entire wedding yourself.
A lot of my work happens before I photograph anything.
We can’t say enough good things about Kathryn! There are a lot of options when choosing your photographer but Kathryn’s website and portfolio is what stood out from the beginning. What you see on those things is what you get on the day of your wedding! She is so warm and intentional that we never felt rushed or uncomfortable when taking our photos. We had so much fun on our elopement and because she plans the timing and flow of the day we never felt stressed.
I would recommend her to anyone especially someone looking to make their elopement care free, fun and unique. She is also the ultimate hype girl and made us both feel comfortable and seen when taking professional photos is something both out of our comfort zones. Seriously still can’t get over how amazing these turned out and how cool she made us look!! We are so thankful she was able to capture our day and that we choose Kathryn.

Looking for something smaller?
Courthouse experiences are available by inquiry.
Florida has more range than couples realize.
Springs that look like another world. Historic courthouses with marble floors + brass fixtures. State parks with Spanish moss hanging over cypress trees and rivers nobody else is getting married on. Rooftops in downtown Sarasota with the whole bay below. Sailboats + private boat rentals leaving the marina at golden hour. Old Florida towns nobody remembers exist. Glamping in the middle of nowhere. An arcade + cocktails + private vows at blue hour.
And duh, beaches too, done right, at the right time, in the right light.
Whatever actually sounds like you,
that's where we go.
Eloping doesn't mean disappearing. A lot of my couples bring parents, siblings, their favorite people, the ones who actually matter, not the full guest list they were trying to avoid. Others want it to be just the two of them, and that's just as valid.
The size doesn't define it. The intention does. You get to decide who's in the room.
The size doesn't define it. The intention does.
You get to decide who's in the room.
That's kind of the beauty of it.

"Kathryn is the only choice when it comes to hiring an elopement photographer. You are not getting just a photographer but a coordinator of your special day and someone who truly and deeply cares about all of her clients. She puts you and your spouse first and foremost and brings ideas to the table to make your day everything you envisioned and more. When I first spoke to Kathryn we planned our day and then weeks before our wedding day we had to change the location and the whole vision we had planned, but a phone call bouncing off new ideas, we came to an even better vision that completely captured me and my husbands love story. Kathryn is an artist as well as a photographer and I don’t think anyone could have done better for us, our love and our family we were able to share our day with. AND YES, you can elope with your closest friends and family. THANK YOU SO MUCH KATHRYN, you are the rockstar of elopement photography" MEGAN + SERGI
You will receive a sneak peek within 7 days. Full gallery within 8 weeks in a private gallery that will have you re-living the day and chessin' so hard, it's going to awesome!
Yes I do. Makes life easier doesn't it?! To secure your date a 30% retainer is due. Then a payment plan is made. The entire balance must be paid in full 30 days prior to your elopement / intimate wedding.
Unfortunately, I do not because picking the right vendor is something that's personal. Just like it's important that we are the right fit, the right vibe, it's important that you make that decision on other vendors as well. BUT I will provide a trusted vendor list for all the things, so it saves you time in researching and scrolling. Fun fact! I'm an ordained officiant - I can sign that paper and make it legal! :)
Heck yes you can :) You have options, and there’s no “right” way to do this. Some couples keep it just the two of them, others invite a few of their favorite people, and some plan an intimate wedding with a small guest list. Typically, an elopement includes just the couple or up to around 12 guests, while an intimate wedding usually falls under 20-50 people. The beauty of it all? We design the day around what feels best for you, not a rulebook.
Think of me as your weather woman, I am always monitoring. Plan B will always be made. Keep in mind... December - March are the best months to elope here. April to May is still awesome but the heat and humidity is on the raise as are the showers so it's a little bit of a gamble. June - November is hurricane season and it's never a question if it will rain but when. We got this! What's life without a little risk!
I help you with the parts that usually feel overwhelming: figuring out where to elope or host your intimate wedding, how many hours make sense, building a relaxed timeline, navigating permits, and connecting you with trusted local vendors who fit your vibe. I curate thoughtful options so you’re choosing... not endlessly Googling.
If your intimate wedding includes more than about 20 people, I always recommend adding a day of coordinator. That way your family isn’t running around managing details, and you actually get to be present and enjoy the day. I work alongside coordinators seamlessly, I prep and plan and they execute day of, you get the best of both worlds... intentional personalized planning support to take planning off your hands and a smooth, stress free wedding day.
